🐒 REWARDS POOL

🐒 Every day Steem is created and a predetermined percentage of the newly created Steem is put into the REWARDS POOL and everyday some rewards are distributed among authors and curators .

🐒
The charts below show what is happening in the rewards pool if it is filling or emptying since HF-19
🐒

🐒

🐒
SUMMARY

🐒 97,659 may be the largest drain on the Rewards Pool that we will see because it was 7 days after HF-19 and it takes 7 days for a payout after a post is made . Remember how many people were still voting with 100% not realizing that a change had been made with the HF-19. This is just my thoughts lets see how it plays out.

🐒 Today is the lowest the Rewards Pool has been since HF-19 . The pool is now at 869,694 today. But today is also the lowest drain day as well.

🐒 Today the reward pool is now at 869,694 down 21,666 from yesterday .

It has to hit an equilibrium at some point and start making its way back up or at least stay flat.

Resteemed. Gonna mention this in a post and probably use your graph in it again. Hope that's cool. you're swell for trackin' and nice job. Went out to 3.2k people :P

aggroed Thanks for the resteem and yes it is fine to use it

Quick questions.... if more STEEM went into the rewards pool yesterday than was drawn out of it, then why is the pool size still decreasing?

I guess I'm assuming that the amount of STEEM entering the rewards pool everyday is a consistent number... and based on inflation I assume it's around 50,000 STEEM entering the rewards pool each day. Is this assumption wrong or am I missing something else?

I guess the drain number is the result of resting the 50k steem- xk steem spent = -21,666 steem, it means there was more steem spent in payout, not 21,666, this number is the drain... When this number get to 0, we could say there is no drain (equal number of steem spent and added to the pool)... I would like to see this drain number every day to get an idea of what the drain rate is, it should probably stop in the next week or so...

Hello dan-atstarlite I would assume that if 50,000 was put in the pool then in order for there to be a drain of 21,666 then 71,666 must have been paid out .

How fast does the pool fill. And does it only fill by inflation or by new hard currency coming into Steemit?

as far as I know only through inflation which is the new steem that is created every day. I think that number is around 45,000 new Steem every day.

I wonder what would happen if it went all the way down to zero. If it went negative would we all have to give money back?

:)

just imagine hahah

Steemit with a budget deficit! That would be like entering the twilight zone...

Where can I find one of these Licensed Financial Steemit Professionals?

That's an interesting chart for sure!

will it ever start climbing up again I wonder!

So the pool has about halved since June? Means we are working twice as hard for half the rewards :O Life in general.
