WEEKLY INCREASE / DECREASE OF STEEMIT UNIQUE VISITORS <<>> CHARTS
🐒 I was wondering how much the unique visitors are increasing or decreasing week over week. Steemit unique visitors were going up everyday for some time but now the trend has turned down as the weekly charts below show .
Unique visitors refers to the number of distinct individuals requesting pages from the website during a given period, regardless of how often they visit. Visits refers to the number of times a site is visited, no matter how many visitors make up those visits. When an individual goes to a website on Tuesday, then again on Wednesday, this is recorded as two visits from one visitor. Because a visitor can make multiple visits in a specified period, the number of visits may be greater than the number of visitors. A visitor is sometimes referred to as a unique visitor or a unique user to clearly convey the idea that each visitor is only counted once.

This is interesting analysis on the trend of unique visitors. I have seen this June spike on other charts as well. I wasn't around then (12 days old, yay!), but do you know what was happening in Steem-land that caused the June usage spikes?
I'm guessing a unique visitor is just like anywhere on the web, a first-time viewer. I wonder how impactful it would be if ALL Steemians wrote a post promoting Steemit to the outside world... in other words, post the article in many social media places other than where one would normally promote. Other blogs, fb pages, twitter posts, news forums, etc. Many times we post something and it remains entirely within the confines of Steemit. If a specific day was chosen, it would be easy to measure, no?
