Good to know today power down was lower than average. It is growing the platform curation ability.
Maybe they should let people power down less than 100% of their Steem Power? I have all my equity in STEEMP and needed a few Steem to try sponsoring a post, I was shocked when I went to power down and it grabbed all my Steem Power for power down. If I had the option to power down just what I need I would have done that!
I'm sure this applies to someone with a few hundred thousand or a million Steem power just as it does to me. So it seems obvious people are powering down more than they need.
Or maybe I'm mistaken and there is a secret option to do a partial power down?

You mean Steemit as a whole is beta? I didn't know that. I figured only Google have year long beta tests!
There are definitely many issues that could be improved - or at least could use further experimentation.
Good to know @me-tarzan but I could really do with the price being abit higher really need to buy my steemfest ticket grrr.
