GREEN LINE = Level at which the number of author post in the past were having trouble getting and staying above

SUMMARY:
Authors over 24 hour period have been having trouble in the past staying above the 1233 Green Line ( Chart # 1 ).
Now for the GREAT NEWS
But as you can now see authors have been staying above the 1233 green line and are trending upwards ( Chart #1 ).
Authors have put in a new high today 8358 .
🐒 To me this is the beginning of a great upwards trend .

What incredible news! This is an amazing uptrend from the beginning of May. What do you think has caused such a dramatic increase of authorship?
the increase in payouts has caused the increase in authors and now that steemit has this figured out the authors will continue to increase in my opinion .
Thanks for the update. Can you clarify the section I quoted below? Are these users that have posted or commented in the last 24 hours, or ever? That's not clear from your statistic, though I apologize if it seems a silly question based on the data.

If it is, indeed, only active posters in the last 24 hours, that is a huge jump. I suspect, if these authors do not immediately jump ship, that this will necessarily lead to a large increase in the Steem price (that would need to happen to cover the distribution of reward to such a large new pool of users - again, assuming they don't quit due to lack of reward.)
thanks for the question @lexiconical This number is for only active posters in the last 24 hours and yes it is starting to really jump up.
Thanks for the reply. So, that does mean vastly more competition for the rewards pool. My chart shows that on 6/1, Steem was $1. So, currently, we have 6x the competition for approximately 2x the reward pool, relative to 6/1.
I predict one of those two factors will have to give rather quickly.
