Conservative lightning rod Milo Yiannopoulos is going to resteem and comment on this post.
It'll be his first ever comment on steemit, although it won't actually be him.

I just used anonsteem to register his name, and I'll sit on his password for him until he arrives; at which point I'll hand it over for free.

I was reading about the recent push to recruit Julian Assange, and saw @ausbitbank has done the same for him, trying to reach out to Julian and let him know his password.

There are quite a few high profile individuals who've grown tired of the censorship on the legacy platforms and are looking for alternatives; and I think they're far more likely to consider steemit if they know that their preferred username is available and being well cared for.

I've been spamming Milo's Facebook comments for a while now, and assuming he has a social media manager at least perusing them, I'm confident he'll eventually notice and give steemit a look.

If you have 10 spare steem, and an individual you'd like to see make the transition, check their name at steemdb.com/@yourtargetsname

If it says they joined 47 years ago, that name has never been registered and is up for grabs. If you don't do it, somebody else will and their demands for payment may drive the individual away.

Don't lose their password. That's worse than trying to sell it. Their name will be unavailable forever at any price.

Keep an eye out for people expressing displeasure with the limitations of the mainstream options, and try to focus your pitch on the immutable nature of the steem blockchain.

This act is by no means an endorsement of Milo in general, I find his Trump worship particularly off-putting, but I don't want this place to just become another incestuous echo chamber, and Milo has a technology/gaming background, so is likely to grasp the nature of steem/steemit and recognise its inherent opportunities.
