One thing I find sort of strange on here is how people will get upset that they spent a lot of time on a post and didn't make any money from. That's what blogging has been up until this point for most people who didn't figure out ways to monetize their blogs. People pour their hearts out online without expecting payment for it. I understand... that was part of the promise of Steemit, but it's not the only reason to be here.
I've seen simplier posts get a lot of attention and making money. The site is not fair. We shouldn't be required to bribe people monetarily for upvotes.
And blogging has been about making money since the movie "Julie & Julia". Money is the real reason most people blog.
