The Power of Mentoring New Ninjas

Alone I am powerless

But, I am not alone

I am surrounded by the abundance of the universe and everything I need is here.

I need the help of others to achieve my success.

There are many around me who possess the necessary ingredients for my success.

I will ask them for help.

I will ask, and I will receive the help I need, because I am not afraid to offer others what I possess to help them achieve their success.

I realize that words are as powerful as a double-edged sword, but the power of silence is greater.

In my silence, I will draw out those around me, and learn from them.

If I am patient, and listen, they will tell me their secrets.

Even the strongest tower can be entered if one learns the secret and

I will listen and learn.

I will never underestimate a single person that I meet on my road to success, because I will realize that everyone has something to offer.

I realize that like others around me, I have much to offer.

I will work to uncover my gifts and talents, so that I can have a true inventory of my personal resources.

I will not limit what I have to offer to my personal skills, but will be mindful of what others around me offer as well.

I will realize the power of choosing my words carefully.

As an archer selects his shaft, so too will I select my words, and only when the power of silence and the art of listening have opened the door, will I loose them to achieve their assigned results.

I will look for opportunities to advance others on their road to success, always keeping in mind that I should treat others as I want to be treated.

I will help with no expectation of return, with the understanding that whatever I do for others will come back to me, soon or late, good or bad.

I realize the power of referrals in providing well qualified leads. I will work to build relationships with others that can lead to referrals.

I will only give referrals to those I believe will handle them well and benefit those they are referred to, remembering that I am staking my reputation on those I refer.

I realize the largest part of the power of networking is in reproducing myself.

I will work to help others achieve success in networking, in hopes of creating a stronger referral network, and raising the business atmosphere around me.

I will teach my proteges to follow the ways of the Networking Ninja, respect others, refuse to engage in unnecessary competition, and work for the success of those around them.

I will also share with them the value of each individual they meet, and help them reach the ten realizations of a Networking Ninja.

When this process is complete, I will encourage each of my students to take on students of their own, teaching them the ways of the networking ninja.

I will remember that improving one person's chances of success improves the chances of all.

I will choose to see others as potential partners, instead of competitors and keep in mind that others hold the keys to my success.
