Planning your future on Steemit

I see this platform as an opportunity to be an early mover on a new and very promising market. I see Steemit as a framework to effectuate a business model, just like when starting any other business on the (not so) free market.

But it takes a lot of planning, thinking, working, reading, and creating a valuable product people want to read and upvote. If you are just starting out, do yourself a favor. Think long term and brainstorm on what YOU can bring to the table that s unique. And do not be shy, everyone has SOMETHING that can be of interest to others. Find out what it is and stick to it, at least as the bulk of your produce.

Build your business, first of all, by growing it - which means converting SBD to S and powering up - but keep some SBD for boosting and other things. Use your SP to vote and curate (mostly curate, when minnow) and then create quality, unique posts, that people want to read and see a long term potential in. Those big whales wants to make sure that those who get their vote, are someone who looks promising and have something that potentially can last and secure the future of Steemit.

When your business has grown in SP and reputation to the highest level and you potentially can live of of the amount of SBD you earn by posting and curating, and maybe also by voting ... convert SBD to S and sell on an exchange maybe once a week. If you still need more SP, consider investing your fiat or other cryptos. The price is very low at the moment and will likely never get lower.

Build a following, respond to replies, be nice to the community ... and it will work out :-)
