The race is on Steemit back in top 10 cryptocurrencies

in #steemit7 years ago

Steemit is currently rising and we are currently holding the number 10 spot in coinmarketcap in cryptocurrencies.

Let's celebrate this moment and look forward to what might happen tomorrow!

A good reason to be optimistic all the recent developments in the cryptocurrency space and the huge amount of money flowing in. Many of us have been waiting patiently for this moment after a several months of suffering and reaching the 0.08$ mark at some point and deserve to celebrate this huge price hike. Many and I mean many new users are joining steemit perhaps for the wrong reasons but as far as Im concerned once they have been here for long enough they will understand the underlying concept of a a decentralized social media application run on blockchain, the benefits of censorship free publishing and likely the main reason they joined in the first place to earn for posting and curating quality content.

A big congrats to all Steemit users, might you be a whale, dolphin or minnow we are all in this together!

This is good news! Onwards and upwards!

We must continue to fight to keep our position :)

Now to solidify its place there and continue the ascent!

next target to overcome #monero :) we can do this our hard work and determination is unbeatable. I hope you voted on twitter like many others ...

I even wrote a post about the BTCC poll, so yes of course I have voted :D

lol, I think many of us made our own post about the btcc poll :) The more the better we cant let this oportunity slide there are too many good steemians out there to loose out to Monero or Dogecoin in this case.

We have the community building potential of dogecoin, with out the drawbacks of being centered around a meme. We have the fastest transaction times in crypto, built on graphene arguably the best backend in crypto. I mean the development here is constant, the projects revolving around the currency are numerous. There is no reason why STEEM should not be added even if it doesn't come out in the top spot.

Yeah I totally agree on all points, but Steem is still a hard concept to grasp even for people that have been involved in bitcoin for some time. I spend every day trying to convince even bitcoiners that Steemit is a huge content publishing solution in the making and they have a hard time accepting this.

Bitcoiners are often resistant just because they don't want to accept the fact that Bitcoin is not the solution to all problems, that sidechains aren't going to scale to all possible use cases and that other blockchains are both acceptable and necessary.

Yeah sometimes hardcore early adopting bitcoiners are worse than fiat currency lovers in that sense!

I have a feeling its only going to get better from here, hope Im not wrong :)

I second that.

I am one of the newcomers here and it's easy to see why this platform is so amazing! It's definitely a community atmosphere and nice to be able to post and debate and just express yourself without flamethrowing. I'm enjoying everything so far! Ohh and being rewarded for the contributions and engagement is not bad either :)
