Lately I am reading numerous article filled with indignation towards Steemit which you can check two of them here as an example.

Somehow, those aren’t new concern. It was also there since 2 months ago I joined the platform and continued till this day. Sharing and making money, who doesn’t want that? It was also the same with Wordpress and customized website with Adsense. However, Steemit offers new approach and more straightforward compared to Adsense it’s just that You have to put yourself out there and connect.

To begin with, I estimated first that majority users here are coming from cyptocurrency and anarchist background who at first wanted to build environment for them to connect and uphold freedom of speech. Now, words are spread everywhere about the platform which then diversify users background. The platform has given a new environment for all kinds of people to co-exist and create their own sub community. It’s like House with several rooms which one could always join and networking. And, If you’re just stuck with one room, you might want to expand your circle and get potential readers because not all of us have fixed interest. To illustrate this point, I can be someone with interests on literature and arts, cryptocurrency, freedom, travel and least to food . You could be someone with interest on music, poker, weeds, cryptocurrency and least to writing. And as result, you and I could still run across each other on a fine sunny day.

Do you know my first reaction when I first observing steemit and trending pages from distance? I was shocked !

I was shocked by the amount earned from a travel story with supporting pictures on it. As someone who fancy writing, the article was just a monotonous common travel story which I wasn’t expecting to get that much compared to some columnist who write truly engaging adventure. However, it was first when I know nothing of Steemit. Overtime, I learned that higher reps and higher SP attract mobs who tried to get attention by commenting with amazing generic comment.

At first, when I joined Steemit, I earned 0.05 cents

I was earning way less than I am right now. I was also having no friends, I wasn’t belong to any ‘ room’ and less knowledge about Steemit. Then, I put myself out there by reading people’s article, spending my time on commenting and connecting till I reach the point I am today.

I was not only investing my time but also a little straight from the pocket which I have tripled by this moment

If you believe in yourself and doing it because you love it, don’t hesitate to step further.

Steemit is not only a social media that pays, It allows you to trade and let’s not forget about this important aspect

Trading requires investment which most of us probably would not opt for that route. But do you aware of how much you could make through trading? It’s much more than cents. So, learn how to trade like a pro and don’t be afraid to take a little from your pocket.

I have had my days of resentment. But I keep on swimming and keep reminding myself of my aim to be here and reasons why I am doing it. I come to express my ideas just so I could get more exposure and feedbacks while making new friends all around the globe. That was my aim and I’ve somehow achieved it. To sum it ups, Know your reasons why were you here the first place. Then, try to evaluate those reasons and see if it’s something you’d really want to do.

Does steemit really makes money? Isn't it scam? What if they stop paying?

Here, let me give you a proof that I’ve withdrawn some of my earnings.

For all new users out there, let’s not forget that you can trade with steem and is part of cryptocurrency. You might want to check out www.coinmarket.cap or www.coingecko.com and you’ll be amazed on how many coins with weird names out there apart from well-known coins.

Some are shady, some are ponzi but they do make real money which you could use to make ends meet in real life. If you are worried steemit will stop paying you, then make the best of your moment. That's by far an approach dealing with shady and ponzi scheme and if you think steemit is that way, go ahead and take my cent's of thought.

Ps : Irrelevant but truly captures the feeling with all chaotic situations and stuff. Especially the politic situations in EU which is truly a joke.
