I'm sorry that your needs for peace and harmony are not being met here at the moment. Hopefully this can be over soon! Trust me, I'd love to get back to regular Steemin. The issue is, that if we let this behaviour go on without resisting, there will be truckloads more scammers joining to make an easy million. Then, bye bye platform.
@lyndsaybowes truckload of scammers is almost a euphemism at this point. More like a whole convoy of 'em and they are here now.
Unless we can convince more whales and dolphins to join us, things are going to go south real quick in a hurry.
Too many users with power and influence are apathetic to what we are doing and this will be their undoing if they don't wake up and fast. They characterization of this as just some sort of drama is part of the problem rather then the defining struggle which may determine Steem's success or failure.
I believe we can win this thing but collectively the user base needs to realize that protecting our Steem investments through moderation is EVERYONE'S business. Not just us.
