I'm so glad to be part of this heart-warming event as a steemian volunteer.
Seeing the kids together with their parents was such an eye to heart moment.
This Gift Giving Day program is all powered by steemit. From all the needs to other expenses.
SO HOW IT GOES?
The event was started with national anthem then prayer and followed with entertaining the group of people belonged to the said event lead by the energetic emcees.
After that, @jaderpogi shared his talent in beatboxing to give more fun.
After the amazing performance, we served the foods as we all know that the family members are already hungry.
Afterwards, the bonus gifts that to be distributed are all settled for the family beneficiaries.
GIFT GIVING MOMENT
These families have received these following early christmas bonus:
• 10 Kilos of Rice per family
• Hygienic Package (Canned Goods, Noodles, Biscuits, Pancit canton, Shampoos, Soaps, etc.)
• Spaghetti and Salad Ingredients for this coming Christmas
• Financial Assistance of P700.00 per family
DISTRIBUTION
When the gifts and cash are all distributed, they are all really happy for what they have received.
They didn't expect this to happen that this coming holidays, they can prepare some for Christmas dinner. In terms of fortune, they are all blessed. Not just lucky.
Nowadays, life is not that easy. It's not like "You want it, GET IT!". In order for you to have it, you need to put all yourself to it. Work hard and strive hard.
Literally, we do experience pitfalls in life. To avoid it, you should make a shield for those threats. You need to know what is your strength and what are your weaknesses.
For my experience here as a volunteer for this event. Seeing those kids, I can say that they are still blessed in terms of the stage of life where they are right now. You know why? Because they still have their parents. They still have their parents beside them. They still have that someone whom they can lean on. Someone that they can talk with and someone that they can call theirs.
Every smile they give to their parents is everything. Every look in their eyes is everything and to their parents, they are everything.
Giving is not just about giving materials. Giving can be also means of giving love to each other. Love is not that easy to share to everyone. Just imagine when you give something with love you can also bring happiness to them and with this Gift Giving Day program,

At the end of the event, we lit up a few of candles for the successful job we did.
