Writing for nobody

Is just me or the reading community on steemit is sleeping or almost dead. Posts that gained a lot of upvotes a few months ago (not from me), now they get one or two if they are lucky.

Writing for nobody is very discouraging.

I will keep practicing my writing on steemit, one of the positive sides is that the fear is low, nobody is reading. But a few upvotes here and there,will be fine.

Now, I'm contributing with comments, votes and feedback to make this place more alive. But is difficult if there is no movement.

How is your situation? I want to read quality content, any recommendations on steemit?
