This giant snail has left everyone speechless, no one can believe it to be real!

Although it does not look like it, this photo has no trick or been passed by Photoshop. It is a species of snail that is characterized by its large size and was hardly known until this Twitter user turned it viral with this funny message: "Please. My rabbit. Is very sick".

As you know that the sense of humor abounds on Twitter, the photo of this girl next to her new pet soon became the target of hundreds of user jokes that could not help but hallucinate with this animal.

Investigating a little more about it, we have known that the species to which it belongs is called Achatina fulica and, as you will see, it is truly shocking. The shell of these snails can measure from 10 centimeters up to 30, which is an outrage when compared to any snail that we are accustomed to see. While snails are herbivorous beings that live in the field and feed on plants, this giant snail can eat practically everything.

The network has not yet decided whether this animal is tender or frightening, it has us all confused! And this giant snail, besides being viral, is also one of the 100 species that are included in the list of the 100 most harmful invasive alien species in the world. In Spain, as in some other countries, it has been banned since 2011.
