What's the point of writing if, no one's gonna read It? It isn't about applause, it's about the acknowledgement of what you've done. A speaker must have listeners.
It's a hobby. And I can relate to, "wanting to clear out your cords in words", but If you wanted to do that, you'd get a diary of some sort, not a blog.
