There has been a suggestion that declining rewards would make one's reputation immune from downvoting - well, that doesn't appear to be working too well (one downvote from that behemoth bully = hidden comment and minus 1.5 to the reputation.)

Please keep your default on "payout declined" for everything for more than 7 days. That way we can test to make sure your rep decline isn't due to b l o o m downvoting one (or all) of your posts (that are less than 7 days old) that doesn't have declined payouts.
