Sorry Steemit/STEEM, I've had enough. Haven't posted in days, decided to post some art after reading that things are getting better, and both busy.org and steemit.com have stifled me today. Turns out "you can't post on busy.org" because the "Publish" button is always grayed out -- has anybody managed to post from busy?
Wasted an hour trying to get the post up. That's enough of my time spent here unproductively.
So, fuck it, I'm done. Beginning the power down as soon as the MinnowBooster delegation returns in a few days.
I'll still read, and try to upvote and comment, but I'll be darned if I continue to waste time trying to post.

I hope to be back, just like I hope that my concussion symptoms resolve at some point and I can return to work.
My expectations are that both will continue to be issues for some time, and the former is affecting the latter, and my health is the most important thing. And my [1] good friend is leaving here, making me feel a little lost.
The neuro feedback sessions seem to have improved, the past two weeks; previously, after a session I was really irritable for 24-48 hours. The sessions "stress" my brain, the intention being to promote healing, but it's still stressful and there's something called "brain reserve" which I don't have much of now after having hit my head four times in the past four years.
And I can tell my frustration is coming out in my writing, and I really wanted to be positive here. So I'll step back for a bit, and heal. Thanks for the kind words.
[1] -- I had written most of the comment, and went back to add the sentence at the end of the second paragraph. Another bug bit me at the point I put the "[1]", which I've written about before. At busy.org, when editing a comment, it often moves the cursor to the end of the document, meaning whatever I was typing ends up split; for instance, the end of this was "Thanks for the kind words.good friend" before I noticed what it had done. So then I either have to move it or retype it, and hope that it doesn't jump the cursor again, then swear at the fucking shit that this place has become everywhere, and edit in fucking Notepad and then paste it in. I'm losing it, sorry, I'll stop writing for a bit. well I took your advice and use steemitstage and it is a little more solid. I hope you heal well! 4 concussion oy! Listen, things could be worse as they say. My good friends son is still sitting in ICU after 3 weeks. He went into cardiac arrest and lay's in a coma - the doctors say he is brain dead. So take care of yourself; and things are looking up! You will heal and be back to great productivity.
Wow sorry to hear, hope for the best for him. You're right, I'm still ambulatory and am gardening and helping my dad with carpentry on his carriage house which had water damage. Could be a lot worse, but then, I'd heal better without constantly being frustrated... :/
Yep, saw it in busy.org popups twice and thought "oh great, notifications now have bugs?", but it was just a different already-known bug that causes multiple comments (someone on my "Bowie Knife" post had three comments!).

I’m sticking with it because I had no other means of making crypto. Probably something to keep in mind. It’s better than crappy faucets for btc. If steem can proliferate more then it will rise in value. There are a lot of minnows like me who see no other avenues; so they will stick it out even with the frustration. That will help hold some value. I think some whales will eventually realize they have to help the lower class such as myself. If they don’t then there will be major roadblocks. I think a dolphin as yourself who put hard earned money into it wants more stability for the product they purchased. So I totally understand ROI. I hope the SMT idea goes somewhere. Seems like a Komodo type approach.. and they went into the crapper because of a shitty podcast on their future plans. I think the crappy statement from ned is on the same level and left people scratching their heads. Better steem inc relations is in order that’s for sure. Second time posting this.. grrrrrr

You really think this shitstorm of a platform coin is going to rise to $10? With all of these problems, I can't see the coin going anywhere near $2. When smart tokens are launched the fat lady would have already sang.
Well, if it last to the 20 year point, according to the white paper it will go up as the supply increase reduces.
I believe that the SMT plan is to make Steem like Ethereum, which is in the $100s from being in the $1s.
More people using the tokens, will increase the value of Steem. When Steem stops pumping out automatically at the high rate and there is less to get on a yearly basis, then it will increase the value of Steem.

I can't confirm, but I saw in a rant that Synereo was in development before Steem. It might be a bit interesting to find out if it will operate much better than Steem or not. Regardless if it is better or the same, I think I would end up publishing to both.
