Anyone else think the trending page is kinda BS?

I mean, the same articles are up for days in a row... why would i look at it ever? I would rather go to reddit, or medium any day of the week.

Personally, i have been using steemit to document my thoughts and its nice for a free blog data base with a little potential earning.. but in 16 posts i have made about 1 dollar, so theres that.

Hope there is a solution coming down the pipe. It would be nice to be able to get a few bucks if i happened to post some good content at some point.
