Lots of people in the audience coding Ethereum apps. Not seeing any Bitcoin devs.
Lots of people right now coding Ethereum apps to create lots of real world applications for the technology with Bitcoin not so much and in the world of technology its always the platform with the developers that wins. Windows won because most developers developed for PC and in the smartphone space iOS and Android won because most developers started developing mostly for those two devices as they had great Software Developer Kits (SDKs) with Xcode and Android Studio.
In the case of Ethereum it has a turning complete programming Solidity that is easy to use and similar to JavaScript and who doesn't know JavaScript so that you can develop applications on top of it such as DApps and Smart Contracts. Its got the developer ecosystem on lock and that's everything when it comes to emerging tech. Also let's not forget major Fortune 500 backing through the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance that is over 86 members large and growing.
