Social media platforms like twitter , facebook and and WA are real social media. You will get social with your old and new friends. When you try to spam your network or friends with comercial, slowly your friends will leave you.

Steemit is social media or money making site? I think it is a combination of both. The weakness of this platform will be a lot of low quality contents and spam contents. ALthough there are bots that can detect the spam, the spammers know how to do better than the bots.

How steemians being social is a questions for me. Because to send comment sometimes the load is slow. I think the developer should fix the problem. Bitcointalk is an example of succesful social forum and money making site. The load is fast, and the discussion is alive. There are moderators that control the post so low quality contents and spam will not be at the first page or removed.

How about steemit? It depends on the members here?
