I think I should be powering-up posts
I am fairly new to this, but I'll try to speak my mind on powering-up posts. Feel free to correct me if I got something wrong. I would also like to discuss with you, if you disagree with me. So don't be shy :)
I asked myself, if I should use the 50/50 option or the power up option. What does it really mean? So if you power up, all the rewards the post makes, will be paid in steem power. Thus you won't be able to transfer, or withdraw any of it. At least not in a short period of time. This can be kind of a bummer, but hear me out though:
I think, blockchain in general has a bright future and is yet just starting to show what it can be used for. I always keep that in mind when prices will go down, so I don't panic sell my bitcoins, or whatever cryptocurrency... THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!! And I am thoroughly convinced that the whole market will continue explode in the next 2-5 years.
So looking at it from this angle, there is no way in hell I would want to take any money out of this crypto-world in the next few years. In that case, why would I care if I can't move my funds (steem power) for a comparatively short amount of time. Plus having more steem power means having more influence in the voting process, which determines the payouts.
In conclusion, I plan to stick to steemit for the long-run, so there I see no point in sacrificing voting power over liquid funds.
What are your considerations when choosing the reward system?

Ja in 2 Sprachen ist es immer etwas erfolgreicher aber versuchen Sie ihre Muttersprache einzubinden das ist finde ich wichtig auf Steemit..Ich bin jetzt auch ein Follower von Ihnen.

I´m as well still a newbie :D But I think it both got it´s advantages and disadvantages. Anyways I´ll as well keep my funds in here as I see a great future for steem in general.

Ich hätte schon alles verkauft, als ich vor zwei Monaten dringend Geld brauchte, wenn ich es nicht in Steem Power investiert hätte. Das wäre ein Fehler gewesen, damals war 1 Steem gerade mal $0,15. ;)
