Steemit - Teach - Learn

”You teach best, what most need to learn" - Richard Bach

For most people when they get out of school they do not want to teach. However tough it is to hear this, you will not learn anywhere near your full potential in any area, without teaching as well.

I know this freaks out some people, angers others and simply bores the he’ll out of yet more folks. But as we learn how to communicate what we already know, we approach and see all of it differently. This in turn helps us learn what we know (or thought we did), to an even deeper level.

Steemit is a great Teaching and Learning Tool

As you conceive, produce, write and add media to your posts, you learn and polish your communication skills.

Communication skills lead to networking opportunities co-joined with the ability to understand and relate to those you network with.

Now here on Steemit, it is mostly monetarily driven. However there is a vast and mostly untapped educational system hidden in plain sight.

Comments

The comment section ”could be” as lucrative (if that is the true motivation), or even more so. An upvote is impersonal and no bond, networking or true communication actually occurs... negating one of the more powerful wealth building tools humans have.

And I do not mean the senseless and spamalogical crappola comments, cut and pasted in many blogs (and that we will invariably see on this post). But rather a real comment made after one has actually read the blog and had the initiative to engage in an intellectual basis.

We are missing huge possibilities here, I know it is becoming human nature, but we must rebel.

I have run a public discussion forum since 1995 and what I have noticed over the years is that; those who meaningfully communicated became more skill and their businesses and schools grew. Those that only popped in a quick unrelated comment did not grow... and those that did not communicate lost business.

Humans learn and expand with communication. Teaching fortifies the communication and network affects... as we are ever involved in the Teach/Learn process.

@kyusho.......great imagination for steemit,,,,,,,,so interesting idea........

I shared your thought @kyusho, teaching gives one more knowledge on the subject matter and Steemit is a great platform to learn and teach and topic of interest

" Now here on Steemit, it is mostly monetarily driven. However there is a vast and mostly untapped educational system hidden in plain sight. "

Cannot agree more. In the age of digital communication, the scope of something like steemit is endless! The main reason being the monetary benefits involved. Most of us read our daily news, share them, pin them, express opinions on them nowhere else, but online. So if you look at it, this is where knowledge lingers around. It gets generated and redistributed here! And imagine if you could get paid for being knowledgeable! That's exactly what we have before us! Maybe hiding from plain sight! Nevertheless it exists and it will be a shame not to use it to it's full potential.

There is truly an untapped potential here. One lesson all can learn is to be generous, upvoting takes nothing from you, while it benefits others. Yet so few choose to do it... instead they choose only words in comment. To be complete in sync with the Steemit process, both are vital to ones success.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

thank you for sharing my friends, I really support as your pliers write, steemit will indeed be a place to learn as you say.@kyusho
