In Weimar, Germany

Just flew in this morning for a little business, back out Monday morning... it's how we roll.

Been flying in and out of countries for these weekend gigs for 20 years now, covering 6 continents. I've seen a lot and met a lot of great people.

Weimar is a great little town with a rich history... but unfortunately most well known for their epic hyperinflation of the 1920's.

Brief History

Weimar is best known as a cultural center for Poets, Philosophers and Musicians.

The more famous of these great talents were; Goethe and his colleague Friedrich Schiller who lived and wrote here, Johann Sebastian Bach played music, Franz Liszt a music director also lived here, and Carl Maria von Weber composed here.

But the list goes on.

The Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche wrote here in Weimar and Walter Gropius founded the Bauhaus here.

After the fall of the Weimar Republic, Adolf Hitler chose it as the site of the first national congress for the Nazi Party.
