Well typically it has notifications so you can see if you are upvoted or if there are any comments on your page. Plus there is a quick button to comments and reply's so it's easy to see if anyone has said anything to you. If you use your phone for steemit I would try the app for sure. It's available on android and iOS if you want to install it. It's free!
