Steemit Improvement Idea : Video Platform
Hello Steemit,
I am relatively new to Steemit and I love it here. I was thinking this morning something that could make steemit even better. Steemit is a great place to come post your thoughts, blog articles etc. However, one thing that is missing, a steemit video platform. Think YouTube, Vimeo or Dailymotion but instead SteemVid, SteemTube, Steemp4 SteemMotion, SteemWatch, SteemVision etc.
Instead of using a big Corporation YouTube (Google), the developers of steemit should develop a similar platform, not just for steemians to use but for anyone on the internet to view. Think of how many people post on Steemit right now, imagine how many cool videos we would have as well. The same voting methods could apply to the videos. They could be with ads or ad free.
I am not sure who exactly is in charge of Steemit development or who could make such a thing happen. I don't think it would be that hard to implement, especially if our community is on board. So upvote this and let the Steemit team see and hear that we want our own video platform. Steemit is an incredible community and a video platform will make it even better!
