I Love Dan .. We All Should ..

My anecdote which led me to life-long appreciation for the man, was being saved with an upvote after being obliterated by a random whale, for no particular reason .. or was it a "Test" post .. anyway, Dan totally pulled me out of a suicidal tail spin.

Dan is a man of high ideals and a man of great skill, and vision. All Steemians should love and appreciate him for delivering this platform to us, based in-no-small-part on @ned's ideas. We should be 100% confident in @ned's leadership and as everyone involved has said, including Dan .. the current development team is more than capable to take Dan's work in whatever direction "we" decide to take it.

Which Brings Us to "We"

We have to face the facts, we are our own worst enemy - we have done more harm to our reputation than any Tone Vay ever could. Instead of celebrating our uniqueness, our great technology, and our unlimited potential, we seek out bad behavior of our fellows, problems with the way things work, and ohhhh my god, do we SHOUT IT OUT from the highest peaks, this then begins a shit storm of the same, leading to open conflict, and everyone looking at STEEM HQ as if they tried to kill us or something!

Yes, these are the evolutionary forces that are catalyst for positive change .. however, we need to remember we are all on the same side - we all want STEEM to rise and rise! For it to be the currency of myriad projects and ventures .. so we can eventually triumph over all our external naysayers. I would ask that we all remind ourselves of this, and turn our conflicts into professional progress seeking exchanges - WE are FAMILY!

Back to Dan ..

I am going to be blunt .. Dan's departure is good for us, in that it silences many of our critics. If you go to bitcointalk.com forums today, you will see a great deal of horribly negative bullshit being said about Dan, his brother, and Bitshares .. so on and so forth. Yes, most of this is just mindless hater bullshit, some of it is very calculated propaganda aimed against us, as we are very threatening to many long-lived .. barely functional crypto-projects out there - they want us to fail.

There has been past controversies associated with Dan, in the crypto space, in the past .. whether there is anything legit to the claims made, or not, the fact is they exist. In order for STEEM to get the clear runway that we require, all obstructions, real or imagined, or straight up bullshit, needed to be cleared - I believe Dan himself recognized this.

Dan will go on to do wonderous things ..

I will be there, no matter what, no matter where or when - Dan's true glory moment lies ahead of him, doing something that reflects his personal vision, purely implemented according to his ethics. We on the other hand must now bear down and fight like hell .. as a family .. promote, invent, recruit, but most of all reconcile.

In regards to reconciliation, our whales have the most to do .. they should now LEAD us in this regard, and infuse the community with positivity and GREAT IDEAS, and to FUND those great ideas ... in earnest!
