Why users are leaving

This is an opinion based on what i have observed on this platform (steemit). A platform sold as an alternative social media platform add opposed to Instagram Facebook and Twitter. Yet the majority of the content here i habe seen are nothing but reports on cryptocurrencies and analysis on their value.

How then is it a surprise that users are leaving when content mentioned above bombard users with content that is boring.
