Bad Reputation? How to Appeal After a Whale Flagging

How do you get Negative Reputation?
In most cases negative reputation is given to those that steal others content, are very rude to others or mischievous in nature, or are involved with scam attempts. If a user with high STEEM Power Flags (
) your content generally the reputation level on your account will plummet and your content and comments will be hidden from other users. Effectively this stops scammers in their tracks and prevents them from collecting further payouts.
In some instances flagging and negative reputations might be given to people who are being disruptive or harassing other users. If this is the case you are still welcome to appeal to have your reputation looked at and possibly fixed.
How to AVOID Negative Reputation?
It's pretty simple: Respect other users, don't plagiarize or steal content from other places and avoid falsely flagging other users content for personal reasons or "just because"... Good luck, STEEM on!
Edit: Posting your links, appealing in the comments or trolling here won't fix anything.

Thanks for giving those with negative reputations some hope. Some people do deserve the negative rep they have received, but I believe everyone should have a second chance. If you can prove that you have changed and provide some great content and help other users, those grayed out posts, and invisible comments can be returned to normal.
Why someone would choose to troll is beyond me. Maybe trolls don't desire any extra money with their revenue stream from tolls to cross the bridge.
Whatever the case, the golden rule applies here. Hopefully people can see that in the long run (and short run for that matter) that reputation is even more valuable than money. Not only is it a reflection of you as a person, but to be respected you have to respect other, even if you disagree with what they believe.
Be kind. Post from your heart. Be original. And repeat these three points over and over for both your posts and your comments ☺

Upvoted because that made me laugh. I have a few people I would recommend for your site when it comes to fruition. I don't think trolls all in one place would be able to troll one another successfully

I'm a 1989 baby and I did not have 52kbps internet for a long time, although I fondly remember the connection sounds and quickly telling someone to get off the (corded) landline so the connection wouldn't break up.

It is based on both. Flags from those with low reputation don't affect your rep.

9 is the highest in existence currently with @stellabelle ... And I think 11 is the max?
