This is a brilliant idea! You could hang out in groups and brainstorm topics to write about, Or have someone to talk to about Steemit in general. I know few people who are on Steemit, And I referred quite a few of them. I can't wait until Everyone knows about Steemit.
Yeah Ill contact one of the bitcoin groups and see what they mainly do. I think its mostly just friendly hanging out talking about topics in the community and just having fun.
