Steemit- Talk to me please.
Now I joined Steemit as it was something new, I could get paid for my writing plus members will comment . I like the idea of the money but I loved the idea of members telling me there stories or just telling me they Liked/disliked my post BUT my last post got 42 reads which I was over the moon about but no one commented, now I think that's such a shame, even saying well done would have been nice or where's my share... anything would have been nice to see.
It feels good to come online to see someone has commented or replied, the interaction opens the site up making it a friendlier place plus show's there are humans on here not just bots.
Steemit is a good site but without the communication it becomes boring and lifeless, leaving a message to open a conversation or just to say you have read our posts lets the writer know your around giving them the option to visit your posts for a read.
Reply - Say something in response to something someone has said
Message - .a verbal, written, or recorded communication sent to or left for a recipient who cannot be contacted directly
Comment - a verbal or written remark expressing an opinion or reaction

Hello Karen. Welcome to my world...I am just feeling the same as you do...but I have learned how to connect with the ghost that appear on steemit.com...lol
Only think I say is we want to continue and keep applying our hopes and feeling...the path is weak but the future is bright. A wait is always a fruitful. It does bring results so why not take a chance. Upvoted and followed you.

That is only for some that are looking for company...most of them are here to make money. And in my sense all this people run after to find the whales that have money and can impress them.
I can't be bothered with that, The whales should be chasing me lol

Its a good point Karen would like to see more comments as I have been shocked to see some good posts with nothing!
There's a lot of posts that get missed, I have always said this site has far too many writers and not nearly enough readers

Hi Karen. I think sometimes there are great stories which do not require to comment. Maybe yours was one of that?

hi hun, it looks like comments have dropped across the board since the talk of limiting full power votes to five a day. so a lot of people stopped figuring all the upvotes would go on posts.
I am still lost with this new voting lark, doesn't cost anything for a reply though. Thanks hun :)
I never comment because I am a bot ....;) Nah! I am just kidding. Most people just vote in hopes on getting some curation rewards. If you write something and no one says anything it feels like talking to a wall ... you just hear the echo.
Fortunately I do not write in my blog so I do not feel that frustration. Largely I only use the platform to read intereseantes things ... when I have time after work

I've often felt the same way. Why don't people comment? As our posts gain momentum, it would be nice to have affirmation of a job well done - or something instead of a gamble for decent curation rewards. LOL
I like to reply, when you have spent ages writing a post its nice to know is been liked or to hear there opinion. doesn't take that long to leave a comment
