Blizzard is preparing an HD-release of the original game StarCraft

 Reputable Korean resource iNews24, quoting from the sources, reports that in September of this year, Blizzard announces HD version of their original and classic strategy StarCraft. The resource also says that the details of the reissues will be announced later, during the November events BlizzCon 2016.

Supposedly it's about the updated game, which will maintain the original gameplay, but will have better resolution graphics and a redesigned user interface. Sources, however, does not say whether the HD-version of the game have improved 2D graphics, or the project will be translated into the 3D engine of StarCraft II.

Why the announcement is planned for September? The fact that at this time in Mexico will end the world championship in StarCraft II. HD-re-release — a logical step, given the huge interest of players around the world to the universe of the game with the release of the trilogy of StarCraft II, as well as the continued popularity of the original StarCraft.
