Once more people join Steemit, your posts will be seen by a lot more people instead of the opposite.

I'm sure you've thought of the fact that, once more people join Steemit, your posts will be lost in the Steemit thread of posts. I mean even with the current number of users, once you post, it doesn't take long at all for your posts to get missing. Well no, I've got good news for you. I wanted to talk about the different time zones around the world. I've been looking for stats with regards to the location of Steemit users but i have found no luck. From what I've read and seen mostly on Steemit, The United States has a good number of users signed up. I will use the US for this analysis although this applies to the entire world.

In the US alone, there are 4 generalized time zones. http://www.timeanddate.com/time/zone/usa . Pacific Time (PT), Mountain Time(MT), Central Time(CT), Eastern Time(ET). When it's 9:00pm Eastern Time for example it's 6:00pm Pacific Time. When it's 5:00am Pacific Time, it's 8:00am Eastern Time. Based on norms, most people  are asleep around 5:00am or are getting ready for the day. Making a post around 8:00am Eastern Time would mean a good chunk of people using the Pacific time would most likely not see your posts, as the possibility of the majority of them being on Steemit is most likely low. Of course your posts will be seen by other people even some people using the Pacific zone, but I'm sure you get my point.

Posting some time in the night, where most Americans are asleep will most likely mean that your posts won't be seen by a lot more people. There have been a lot of posts about the busiest times on Steemit and they all point to that. Some people say the busiest time is the regular 9:00am to 5:00pm. As to whether that's true, i don't really know. It's not just America, other countries share times with the United States and all this certainly applies to those countries as well.

Don't be confused by my thoughts/points. The point I'm trying to make here is this. As I've stated above, there are 4 generalized time zones in the United States alone. Actually, thinking about time zones in general, there are at least 6 in the Unites States. Worldwide, there are a lot more. More people joining Steemit will mean, more eyes with different time zones and a higher possibility of your post being viewed. You don't have to worry about being in a rush to post before everyone sleeps. All of a sudden, posting at 2am in the morning will mean even a lot more people viewing your posts even around that time because there are a lot more people awake in a different corner somewhere in the globe, and that's great for your posts and everyone else's as a whole.

See, it's all great after all. Steemit is great. Don't let post visibility discourage you from posting or being active on Steemit. Steemit is a new platform with a lot more potential. It's growing at an unprecedented rate. In 6 months only it's risen to number 3 on coinmarketcap.com and its market cap is currently valued at at least 200 million dollars. Every little tweak, update they roll out will end up bringing even a lot more people to the site. One thing that's sure is more users joining. No doubt about that. So you're sure to know that the point I've been trying my best to explain here will manifest. More people joining Steemit with a lot more time zones means more visibility on your posts irrespective of the time you post.
