Two Values You Must Have When Opening a Steemit Account

Steemit is a special platform with numerous benefits to both creators and curators. Unlike other freelancing platforms, I have used in the past, it has its own unique but strict rules especially in the registration process. I must admit that I lost my first Steemit account because of lack of seriousness. Allow me to share with you the two main values you need to have a Steemit account:
Patience; Although the process of registration may appear to be simple, it is not instant as in other platforms. After submitting your personal information, you must wait for more than 5 days to give the admins time to verify your information. They will then send an email verification link with further instructions on what to do.

Seriousness; The second email you will receive after 5-7 days will contain a link to the last step of setting up your account. This is where you must be extra careful because you will be given a permanent Master Password which cannot be changed FOREVER! This is where Steemit differs from all other freelancing accounts I have ever used in my life. The rules are simple and clear. The only secret is to BACKUP your password. There is no PASSWORD RECOVERY at Steemit. You lose it, you lose you account.
