We Need More Curators!
I see a lot of people talking about the need for content creators, but not many people talking about the other important aspect of this site. Curation.
Even the top posts here only have many 100 upvotes, we have an increasing number of users, its time people start voting content up! Give new content a shot, and get out there and upvote good posts! People like being apart of a vibrant community, what better way to show we are growing one here then by having an active contingent of people who vote on good content!
Edit: I think I need to add... I know that curating doesn't generate a lot of a reward, but you aren't doing it for the reward, you are doing it because you enjoy the content and want the site to succeed!
I wonder if the change from the 50% reward for voting to 25% has had an effect?
It shouldn't, curating shouldn't be about the rewards. It should be about giving rewards to good content, and creating a vibrant community.
The next step is commenting more. The monetary reward is good, but people need to not focus on it. Post on here as though you were posting on reddit where there is no reward.
I am new around here but had one post that gave me a lot of steem power and I am definitely trying to check out posts now and do upvoting and plan to keep doing it. :)
