It is a callous opinion to hold I feel. I understand how a reference program can be a scam but if it is detailed that the incentive only comes from their referee actually contributing and engaging the community I don't really understand how it is a scam..
Moreover, my point is that I don't think completely ignoring a potential great community builder due to a few people being able to do a little research is wasteful... Just my personal opinion!
