Is there a marketplace for Steemit accounts?

18 minutes later after I posted this...

  • I have taken the initiative in assigning # #accounts-marketplace as the official place for all things related to account trades. I encourage everyone to be safe, honest and respectful.

  • Lets keep things professional. I would like to encourage open communication, negotiations, auctions and feedback from buyers.

Mmmm you bring up a very interesting point. I have a friend that I introduced to Steemit about a week ago and the account has yet to be used. I would assume that it holds great value now that accounts are by invitation only.

Absolutely agree! Didnt even think of it.

I'm getting a little toasty seeing new accounts pass mine in value hourly and well established authors continue to rake in fortunes. The middle class is getting rekt here, I'll sell you my account if you want it.

Dont give up - I would buy your account - but I like what you do too much. Little things like this really got me thinking the other day. I upvoted a bunch of your stuff just now. The most recent song you shared - Im checking out right now. Just keep it up, new users get a lot of attention because they are new. I was too skeptical to invest much time in the beginning, but I've changed my attitude, even though I suffer the same exact dilemma as you. My original content is barely valuable, but Im having fun nonetheless. Thanks for responding. I will let you know if someone here answers the "marketplace" question - if not, then I will use the tag - #steemit-account-marketplace

wow, thank you so much for reading my comment and not bashing on me immediately. It really means so much to me that you took the time to not only view my content, but write a comment to me demonstrating that you care on an individual level.

I have to be honest, I dropped an entire paycheck on Steemit because I thought it was so cool, and hell, I even got a couple blogs trending, granted both times I began trending, the site crashed and nobody could continue to upvote my content. It felt absolutely amazing. But now, I am seeing posts churned out every 15 minutes totaling more than my entire accounts worth ( which I am really proud to have built ) and it is a little disheartening. I don't know if it's greed or jealousy fueling this, and I don't know if these makes me a cynic or a terrible person, I just wanted to share how I feel.

Anyways, thanks again for taking time out of your day to listen to what I had to say and for trying to cheer me up. Steemers like you will be the reason I continue to use the platform.

Glad to help! You know, Im an artist, and I always talk about my early work and how for years, my journey was an attempt to recapture the same glow I possessed during that time. I found it was a fleeting, exhausting, but logical persuit. I found that as I began to let go of my expectations, I started to kind of re-invent myself. I think it allowed me to move forward and grow in a natural way. We are meant to be always changing and evolving, I think, and once we really accept that, the things we do and the creations of our hearts tend to be more sincere. It becomes easier.

I've invested a lot into crypto for years. Seen it go up, down. Felt the emotional turmoil of a missed opportunity or worse, a panic sell. I've felt the addiction and euphoria being the first to discover something amazing, reaping profits like a maniac and selling at the top. I've held long, held short, made stupid, made smart - but in the end, everything Ive ever done has led me to this moment right here - having a rewarding conversation with a potential new friend :)

Not the best way for me to get accounts trading though haha

I never made much money trading Crypto unfortunately, although I have been invested in it for a while now. I always seem to sell/buy at the exact wrong moments, which is in part what brought me to Steemit. It was the first platform I felt actually REWARDED for investing my time ( unlike my trading ).

Anyways, it's awesome to see you're also a fan of Tai Zen, I have been following him on YouTube for awhile and it's really some of the only success I have had in Crypto. ( You can find some dated comments from me on his videos, I'm sure. :P ) If you're ever in Arizona, I would very much like to buy you a cup of coffee.
