Raw, Vulnerable and Honest - How Do You Thrive and Grow On Steemit?
Call me impatient or maybe just feeling like I am missing a key piece of the puzzle.
After 7 weeks as a Steemian, I love this community. However, seems like I am missing something or am I being impatient? Writing, posting, commenting, following to get a penny.
This is the question that I ask and being vulnerable and open in this forum. The things I do know is that I need to continue to improve format and writings and get my Dtube channel up and running and improve photo quality, which is in the works.
Oh ye wise Steemians, am I missing something or does it just take consistency, patience and time to grow and network.
Thank you for your honest comments.
From reading this post and looking briefly at your blog, the best I can suggest (having been here the same amount of time, mind you) is keep doing what you're doing! Not only commenting sporadically, but sticking with people and interacting often, gaining comrades in the journey. It certainly takes "consistency, patience, and time to grow and network". :) Also relevancy, honesty, and a little bit of luck. Keep being you on this platform and have fun, we've got your back!
That is awesome to hear. I am sure I am not the only newbie that may question am I on the right track. Just don’t want to be that girl that wants to be popular in high school, but no matter what she does it won’t happen. Lol
After 159 days I am still asking the same questions. I have learned if you're looking to make quick easy money...this is not the place. You do have to be patient. I started from scratch a basic account.
But to answer you question. YES to all of the above -consistency, patience and needing to grow your network.
For networking there are a few groups that help. @greetersguild, @newbieresteemday, @asapers, @minnowsupport.
I had an article recognized by @asapers and love newbieresteemday. When or is there a time that you are no longer considered a newbie? Not looking to get rich quick as there is really no such thing unless you get lucky and win the lottery. Thank you as I am sure any comments that are posted will surely help others as well.
