My first YouTube Video. Inspired by Steemit.steemCreated with Sketch.

in #steemit9 years ago (edited)

I've been blogging for 6 years now. Although I record videos on computer repairs and tricks, I've not showed my face in any of the videos. Shy me!

After reading a couple of posts and watching lots of Steem videos, I am inspired to open a new chapter in my internet journey. Having tried to evangelize Steemit to a couple of friends who don't still understand the concept of Steemit, I have decided to open a new YouTube channel to share a couple of ideas and talk about Steemit.

Here's my first video to fellow Nigerians and Africans.

Kindly drop a comment on how I can do better

Here's the transcript.

Hello everone, I'm Jotmax, owner of candidarticle.com, I'm inspired to record this video by stemit.com. I'll be talking about Steemit in this video today.
Steemit was founded by Dan Larimer and Ned Scott in May 2016 and it has been a fantastic website since then.
I joined Steemit in May 2016. I'm barely a month old and I'm recording a video already.
That's to tell you how fantastic steemit is.

Stemit is a social news service website that runs a blogging and social networking platform.

It stores its records on a blockchain called steem. Many people don't understand what blockchain is.
I actually wrote the definition down so as to explain to you properly.

A blockchain is a database that stores a lon list of records. It runs like facebook, reddit, twitter, instagram and so on.

By my projection, Steemit will become a giant information repository in the next two years with 170,000 subscribers in just 1 year and everybody is canvassing for steemit already.

You can imaging how it will be in 2017.

I'm encouraging Africans and other people around the world to join steemit because they can earn from using it like facebook, twitter and instagram.

How is that possible?

You know if you are a user of reddit, there are upvotes and downvotes.

When you post something intersting on Steemit and people like it, they upvote it. When it's upvoted, You'll have a token attached to your post, and then its withdrawable after 7 days.

Its a very vast information. You have to be on Steemit before you really understand how it is and what it is like. I encourage Nigerians and other Africans to join the Steemit community. Let's build this community and let's make it a better place.

Let's increase the value of Steem and let's all invest. If you are able to buy Steem, buy it and trade it. Let's make Steem grow.

We can do this together and I'm encouraging you guys to do that.

Thanks for watching. I hope you understand the concept now.

All thanks to @woleybabz who invited me and @fisteganos who invited him.
