Why am I spending so much time on steemit.com, almost 5 hours a day?

What if we consider Steemit as an Educational degree in College or University?

People spend so much time in Education trying to get a degree and someday find a job to pay them check to get by daily on their living. Some may find high positions in Multinational Companies (top companies with high Salary grades in the Philippines) or in the Government.
But how much Time and Money being spent in preparation for a promise of a stable job?

Here in our country, we just adopted the International System of Education, which we locally called K-12. It’s a thirteen (13) years long education;

(not considering the additional - Day Care Nursery Program of the DSWD –Department of Social Welfare and Development of our government.) , to cope up international standard. How much time and money if we have to calculate it from the start? (Let me try my best to calculate with the help of a Calculator- made in China.)

KINDERGARTEN – 1 YEAR

TIME SPENT and MONEY SPENT:

10 Months 50Pesos/day x 5= 250Pesos x 4 weeks = 1,000Pesos x 10 months

Total: 10,000Pesos (that is $ 196.078.)

GRADE 1 TO 12 With Rough Estimation of Money Spent In Elementary and High School only:

10 Months x 12 years = 120 Months x 10,000 Pesos a Year = 1,200,000Pesos (that is $23,529.41)
Or even more. This is Elementary to Senior High School only.

But what about an additional 4 or 5 years in College? With higher Tuition Fees and Expenses?

Let’s Estimate it to Three Hundred Pesos (300Pesos) a day only:
Time Spent: MONEY SPENT:
10 Months x 4 Years = 40 Months
300X 5DAYS a Week = 1,500 x 4 weeks = 6,000 Php
A month x 10 = 60,000Pesos a year x 4 years =
240,000 Pesos (that is $ 4,706.00) total expenses for
The whole 4 years of daily expenses.

What about the Tuition Fee for each Semester?( Total of 8 Semesters)

Rough Estimation of 15,000 Pesos per Semester x 8 = 120,000Pesos (that is $ 2,353.00)

Total Money to be spent for a 4 Year Course in College Degree is = $7,059.00 And Plus the:

Grand Estimated Total of: $ 23,529.41 Money Spent in Elementary up to Senior High School.

All in All we have to Spend $ 30,588.41 or One Million Five hundred sixty thousand and nine Pesos (1,560,009.00 Pesos)

and almost 17 years – just to get a Decent job here in our Country for a Salary of at least 350Pesos ( that is $6.8 ) a day only! That is if lucky enough to find a job in our country…

If I have to spend 17 years of 8 hours a day to study and $30,529.41 just to get $ 6.8 a day of Salary for the rest of my working life here in our beloved Country, why not spend just 4 years of at least 5 hours a day in Steemit , Studying and correlating in the Platform and Investing all the money that I can, would I get at least $100 a day as an average income for the rest of my Curator’s life? Somebody answer me please!

What about my 7 years in Facebook? Which I spent and didn’t get anything? (Well that’s another topic, I get emotional now.)

So, why am I spending so much time on steemit?

Well, I know not only guess that there is a promise of a decent life for us specially in the third world country like us, through STEEMIT.
A $100 dollar average income would be a Five Thousand Pesos (5,000 Pesos) a day, enough to make a good and decent life for me and my Family.

Enough to send my two kids in College who are now in Elementary and High School.
