I was thinkng about the same.
It is kind of weird.
Im not really sure about what it means and how it will affect the content quality managment for this network.
It is nice to see a fast growing varied community but the popularity of these kind of posts maybe shows 2 sides.

1. There are really joining alot of varied people from all over the world. And maybe alot of young girls from other social networks are visiting and joining to steemit because it is more easy to get involved with it compared to usual platforms/networks in crypto space. Maybe this is the power of it, being like a hybrid of crypto and social networks.
   So it is bringing alot of new people to "crypto" !

2 . The popularity of these posts just show the interests of the current community. So it is like a contra-indicator.
The more attention content gets, just because of beeing a girl and introduce oneself, the more it shows how the majority of the community is minded.
So the usual User seems to be : man, in the middle age. Most of them are probably already involved in crypto. So kind of nerdy...

Problem: You cant really proof the authenticity of any of these posts.
So some of it could be kind of spam.

What it means ?!
i am not sure how to deal with this.

I dont want to upvote content like this.
I want to see the raising of the contentquality as well as the raising of the diversity of users.
but it seems to be profitable to post and upvote posts like that.
