Analysing Steemit trends/data


Is there a simple how-to guide?

I've been reading through the documentation, and I can't see a user-friendly process for analysing Steem data.

How, for example, would I go about analysing the number of posts in a given category for a given period?

A nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to do some simple trend analysis for my (popular categories by the time of day based on views/votes, etc).
