Have you found anything that will either let you post audio files or post entire wordpress posts, with audio files? That seems like something we're never going to see.
yes there are ways you can show up audio files in Wordpress website will create a tutorials video and share soon and if you want see the site which has Audio embed

Has anyone found a way to get around the lack of capability in SteemIt to post audio files maybe a pop-out page for one? I'm not particularly interested in throwing up a Youtube with a static background, but I feel like I'm missing something obvious.

You can use the Phlox-Theme by Averta.
It is a free theme which is highly customizable.
You should be able to play audio-files with it.
