Steemit has something equivalent to SEO. Although we're not doing Search Engine Optimization here but another thing which can help with your optimization and which can really get your post to take off is to generate lively discussion on your post.

While sometimes they can be annoying then, what you really want is to encourage comments in your comments section. One way to do this is to simply ensure that your post ask interesting questions and raise interesting points that will invite discussion. This may even mean being purposefully controversial!

You can also ask questions at the end of the post and generally make yourself appear approachable. Similarly, you should set a precedent as someone who will answer questions by making sure to stay active in your own comments section. Checkup your "Replies" section so when you get a new comment, you can then set out to answer all these at the start of the day. This is also the way you get a huge followers on Steemit and a few fans can be immensely valuable to any campaign.

And don’t forget – Steemit has a news feed! This means that if you spend some time building your Steemit fans, they will all be shown your new post when you publish them. A great way to do this is to be active in discussions in Discord communities, to take part in Meetups Campaign and to follow other author(you normally get a reciprocal follow). Have your steemit link visible on your website or social media profile and this will help you to gain more Followers.

What this also means, is that if you share your Steemit post to a Social Media and it gets commented on by Steemit users or any interested person, that person will likely going to follow you on steemit as well. This is a great way to get some initial momentum on your post, so try to find communities to join in your niche and then make Post you think they will enjoy to share there. Just don’t post to often or you’ll likely became annoying.

Awesome tip, your article is worth reading.

I agree with you about commenting and it's definitely helping me gain followers.

I was struggling during my first 2 weeks and good thing someone from #teamphilippines showed me the ropes and I'm now doing great because of comments.

Great community and salute to everyone.

Kudos!

Really true @rye05, the good thing is we all love interactions. It makes us more confident of ourselves when someone appreciate our works.

That's so true my friend, that's why social medias are famous now, when someone appreciates our work, even the smallest one, we feel good of ourselves.

No doubt, you are learning fast. Additional resources for free images for resuse is pixabay and pexels. You can also use google but you will need to go to settings and adjust the filters. Engagement is key, like you mentioned! #philippines helped me find your post!

Thanks @surpassinggoogle, I've checked out pixabay and pexels. I've found out that they are free not only for personal but even for commercial use, more of that is there's no attribution required. Thanks again for letting me know about them.

And by the way, your right. I feel like I'm learning too fast. This is purely because of the people here like you who always share their most effective ideas that is worth trying.

I'm going to share something later. It's about Creating a Title. You might want to check it out for some improvements :) . I love to hear some feedback from you.

P.S.
I've already downloaded an image from pexels for that articles later...
I wish you the best....
