1700 Followers And How I Did It | You Can Do It

1700 Followers!

Today was a good day on Twitter. I get to celebrate hitting a pretty big milestone. I hit 1700 followers and I will tell you how I done it. Well its actually quite simple really and the reason for that is everyone wants more followers.

The Method To The Madness

So honestly the way I was able to gain so many followers on Twitter is because more everyone is on Twitter for exposure. So I look for people who have more people they are following than they do followers. I don't ask them to follow for follow or anything like that but it is basically a similar method.

So you go to the search on Twitter and type in what ever topic or niche you want to target like say "Steemit" and then you go to the "Latest" tab. You then scroll down through there hovering your mouse over the users names. It will pop up like the image above showing how many followers and following they have. If they are following more people than they have followers then they are a candidate. Just hit follow and move to the next name doing the same thing until you get bored.

Not So Fast

Ok now that you have that figured out I want to give a warning. You do not want to follow so many people that you appear desperate. Its not really possible at first but you need to keep your Following/Follower ratio close. To do that I use a program called Crowdfire you can download on your phone. Its simple to use and free(but limited if using a free account). This app shows you who is following you back and who isn't and also who has unfollowed your account so you can do the same. There is plenty of guides on using Crowdfire in Google search and on YouTube but I will make one here if you guys want.

Thanks To My Followers Here And There

I don't really use the account any more other than to post a test blog I was working on and to post Steemit articles to. But the idea was I was going to search the internet for deals and post them to the page everyday. It was fun to do and I made some affiliate cash from Amazon(<-- see how I did that?) and Ebay doing it. So I figured the more people to see my posts the better.

When I First Got Here

When I first got here to Steemit I was basically going to try the same method here. But I decided to be more conservative and not just follow everyone. I do follow a lot of people but I'm trying to just follow the ones that I see a lot of value in their posts and that we have similar interests. I do hope to have that many followers here as well but it will take time and work.

So tell me what you guys think? Crappy method or nah? Thank you for reading and if you liked it Follow and Upvote for support!

Great post for those who need followers lol.

I have unfollowed a lot of people, learning from experience. And to filter my feed only to those content that interests me. I prefer those followers who are really interested in reading my posts, it doesn't matter if there's just 2-3 of them. But I probably get 1 out of 10 in a week who read my posts lol. Someone once unfollowed me because I refused to resteem his post lol. I just didn't like him begging me to do that, because I don't do those things.

I didn't intend to turn it into a guide but once I started writing. Lol Thanks for the comment.

grats! good information here

Thank you. I hope others might find it helpful as well.

can you share with us your Amazon Affiliate experience and earnings?

My newest blog post is a small update on that. I will do more soon.
