Third Month on SteemIt! My Experience and Progress so far
Today marks another milestone for me as I celebrate my third month here on the Steem platform. I still can't believe I made it this far despite me having little to no knowledge about cryptocurrencies and the likes.

When I first come across Steemit, "charts" and "technical-analysis of some coin I haven't heard about" was all over the place so I immediately thought that I don't have a place in here since I really have no interest in other cryptocoins besides bitcoin at that time.
Note: Not the actual chart but something like the one above
Up until I saw a meme with over $100 reward. Seriously, who wouldn't be tempted to try Steemit after they saw something like that? While waiting for my confirmation link(master password), I explored more what Steemit and most people in here talk about. The majority of which was related to cryptocurrency and the likes, but there were also informative, educational and inspirational ones.
After two days, I finally got the link I was waiting for. I immediately posted something. Seconds after, I got an upvote and a "Very nice and good to know" comment. Since I immediately got an upvote and a comment seconds after posting, then maybe I thought I will get more after an hour. Never have I been so wrong since a day have already passed and the number of votes was still stuck at 2(mine and that person who commented who I think now was probably just a bot).
Thinking that maybe the reason why I don't get upvotes is because people thought I was a bot(This is a legit reason!), I then made an #introduceyourself post, also with the hopes that maybe @surpassinggoogle would notice and upvote me as I saw that he likes to help new users. As expected, I only got $0.22 out of it. Lol Disappointed I shifted to posting memes, less the effort right?
But somehow I was addicted to Steem. I want my account, this account to grow. Despite my terrible writing skills, I tried to write decent contents about topics I love talking about even if only a handful of people are interested on it. The first topic I talked about was CTF's and because of that I got noticed by a dolphin named @techslut. She delegated some of her SP to me which was really a big help to me at that time since I have never encountered bandwidth problems. She also upvote my post once in a while which helped me to get some SBD's which I now use to get some promotion visibility. Thanksonce again @techslut! :)
Anyway, long story short, because of her help, it motivated me to be more involved here on the Steem platform. By February, I challenged myself to post at least once a day. It was really hard to stick with the challenge I put in myself. I have a boring life so I don't really know where to start and what to post in here. But eventually I kind of get the hang of it by posting things that I really am interested in like Anime, TV Series and Games.
By mid February, I started to look for communities that help new users in here (I need all the help I can get to grow lol). I stumbled upon @qurator, to which I think is possibly the most awesome community I have ever seen in here. If you are new and feels that your post are underappreciated, you should try to join the Qurator community.
My progress so far:
I now have 355 followers - an increase of 105 from last months 250 (Hooray for the botmakers)
A reputation of 54.7 - an increase of 2.7 from last months 52.
And an Effective SP of 84 - an increase of 43.
I recently also got whitelisted from @smartsteem:
Even if it's only 1 star, but the fact that they think that I post decent or even good quality content is enough for me. :)
And my Steemitboard:

I am proud of you. I knew I chose right when I gave you that delegation when I could. I hope to be able to do that again soon. <3
