Real life uses for steam are still lacking
Let's be honest, steem isn't adopted widely enough right now to even be considered to be used in real life transactions anymore.
So, how can we resolve this issue?
- Time. We just need more time for the network to mature.
- Community effort. Start accepting Steem on a daily basis yourself.
- Keep posting! Your posts help the network to grow.

Right -- this is a big reason I've been interested in cryptocurrencies since they first arrived. SOMETHING has to change with the global payment system, and I prefer that something democratizes money rather than continuing to serve a very, very few. Good post. Why Congress ever gave away its Constitutional authority to mint its own money ... well, different story.
federal reserve = mafia. Decentralized money(aka bitcoin,ethereum) is the only way to bring these guys down without a war.

That's a hard call, isn't it? SS involves all working Americans. The Fed ponzi scheme involves all Americans and all nations that buy into our currency. And all they have to do is print more money to effectively steal from every person that has a US dollar in their pocket.
@jholdsworthy I too hate the federal reserve ,and we can all thank Woodrow Wilson in 1913 when he signed away every american's freedom and made slaves of everyone that has worked since 1913 ,we are slaves to the elite of the federal reserve . John F kennedy was going to do away with the Federal Reserve when he started printing our money. And we all know where that got him.These people are so powerful even a united states president can't stop them.

This is a good example of why you shouldn't let the government or their friends be in charge of anything that is important to you.
I reccommend the documentary Deep Web and Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It. They talk a lot about FED and criptos.
Great article and great points. I will also note, that even pyramid schemes are generally better than the Federal Reserve. The federal reserve is dependent up on coercion, wheras neither a normal pyramid scheme nor Steemit does.
