I also wrote a post about another idea that could help transfer more users over to Steemit from old abandoned social media accounts at https://steemit.com/steemit/@davidalexander/an-idea-to-get-more-users-on-steemit Might be up your street. Especially if you remember when everyone left Digg for Reddit.
