What bothers me about steemit after using it for more than 2 weeks
No possibility to see and track your interactions
A social network platform is encourages people to interact and connect with eachother. On steemit there is no possibility to chat. There isn't even an easy way to track the reactions you gave and got withous using any external tools. If steemit should be considered more as a blog, we should consider advertising it more as a blog.
Hard to find high value posts.
As alot of people here are just looking for quick and easy money, they just try to setup things in order to get as much as upvotes as possible with the least possible effort. There is nothing bad about contests, giveaways,… but it isn't creating real value for the network neither. In my opinion It takes too much time to gather good quality information about a certain topic. I think it is really hard for new people that are not enthousiast to stick with it.
It seems like 90% of the posts are about bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
It's completely logical that steemit is in its first stage attracted the most by cryptocurrency enthousiasts. But I assume most people here really want to make steemit the next big thing. In order to reach that, people should think about other things that are important to them. Adding high quality information is the biggest bless for this platform.

I upvoted your post because it corresponds to reality. It is true. Steemit has a lot of problems. But it is still very young. Lets remain optimistic about this platform and hope it will evolve for better.
Yeah Steemit has a lot of problems IMO. You're right, most people are here for a quick buck and content quality is usually pretty poor or straight up ripped off.
Your post won't get a lot of likes though, most of the community takes the head in the sand approach.

Yes, you're right. Luckily there are some great bloggers who really add value. Sometimes I even think the amount they earn is really overwhelming :o
