THE INTERVIEW: @XTRODINARYPILOT

Hello wonderful steemians, welcome to another thrilling episode of THE INTERVIEW. I'm sure we have all been waiting for the next guest since the last edition with @bambam808.

Once again before I introduce the guest for today, I want to remind us the purpose of this series; THE INTERVIEW is an avenue where steemians get to share their views towards a better steemit community and also where we get to know ourselves better.

So Today I have with me someone extraordinary. Ladies and gentlemen meet...

@jemimah: nice to have here on this episode of THE INTERVIEW. Introduce yourself.

@xtrodinarypilot: My name is @xtrodinarypilot and just like my decsription says, " I am
an entreprenuer, avid outdoorsman, aviation enthusiast, father,
husband, and now an investor in cryptocurrencies." I live in Texas, a
place which I intentionally and blindly, call the greatest place on
earth. For those of you that wonder, I am indeed a pilot. I do not fly
for a living, I fly for fun.

@jemimah: you heard that, so hit the follow icon before you read this to the end. How did you get to know about steemit and what's your inclination
here as regard to maiking post/article?

@xtrodinarypilot: I was introduced to steemit via user @Mrwang. No he is not Chinese, he is Taco Libre. Mexican through and through. I've known @MrWang since
the 4th grade and apparently his dad is a scientist. He also lived in
the house behind me. As far as making posts, I can only offer you this
advice, keep posting. That was the advice that @MrWang gave me when I
said I was going to quit.

@jemimah: cool..Have you done anything significant on steemit or do you have any in mind?

@xtrodinarypilot: @HarveyReliefFund has been the most significant project that I have
worked on. It has brought together people from around the world to
assist with the relief efforts of those affected by Hurricane

Harvey. This has also created new contacts for some of us here in the
steemit community.

The other thing is being a part of the Austin MeetUp for Steemit.
Being able to meet new steemaians and speak to a group of likeminded
individuals. The day I joined steemit, i never expected for anyone to
ever ask me about how to succeed on this platform. ::black man
blushing:: Also getting going on the #steemitroadtrip where we
utilized the steemit network to navigate our trip.

@Jemimah: That's worth it especially the harvey relief fund project. How has your experience been on steemit?

@xtrodinarypilot: Overall, my experiences on steemit has been positive and I would not describe it as anything different. Summarily my experience has been
good but I have experienced my share of mishaps. One hardfork changed my payouts negatively and I took a hiatus. I continued to curate but I did not post for almost 3 months. When I did get back on, I saw that I missed a huge opportunity. Another time, I accidentally sent 1380
steem to the wrong person when the price was at his highest. HAHAHA I
can only laugh at that sitiuation.

@jemimah: oh my goodness!! Can you make the same mistake again and send to me??😂😂😂😂 Okay so Name Your Favorite Steemians and Why?

@xtrodinarypilot: Ironic you chose that as question number 5... I plead the 5th on the
grounds that it may incriminate me.

@jemimah: whatever you just quoted is accepted because i don't have any idea what that means.😁.If you were the founder of steemit, what would you change to improve its current state?

Aesthetics (Graphic Heavy User Interface) and ease of onboarding for
new members. Referral steem would be nice as well.

@jemimah: yeah i've also taught about that referral steem. Next question; Where do you see steemit in the next 5 years?

@xtrodinarypilot: In beta, lol. Honestly, I believe that the steem blockchain will be
adapted for business social media solutions. We can expect to see a
host of user created programs to Follow @Zappl, @Dtube, and @Dsound

@jemimah: I totally agree with you on that. Lastly, what Advice can you give steemuans viewing this?
