It's an interesting concept to think about and one I had never thought about until I read your article. I would think that as long as you keep your password and login information somewhere or a computer or in your phone, it can be passed on. The same would be said about someones private key. Say someone has 1000 btc on and they have memorized the key, if they die and haven't told anyone else the key, it's pretty much impossible to recover that BTC, heartbreaking haha.
